EXHIBIT FACE CASTING FOR EARLY 1930’s NOVELTY MERCHANTMAN

If you own, or are restoring, one of the Exhibit Supply, Co. early Novelty Merchantman diggers you are probably disappointed with the oversize hole that has been cut into the face casting in order to upgrade coinage over the years by using different coin acceptors. These models are so old that they may have undergone several ‘hatchet’ jobs over so much time in service. Patching the oversize cut-outs to return to the proper 3-bolt or 4-bolt ABT coin slide is rarely satisfactory. A re-cast face plate is often the best answer. I am offering these rough aluminum castings as they come from the foundry. They are for the style with the push-down door flap and the glass window above. These are for the restorer who has the knowledge and skills to do the necessary re-fitting, machining, grinding/sanding and polishing.
